Here at Storable, we’re committed to helping our self storage operators fill their empty units by using our Marketplace product. We manage and optimize in-house organic search strategy designed to attract potential tenants to our Marketplace, where we connect tenants and operators. Storable is seeking a Sr. SEO Analyst who will help manage and grow this important channel across our consumer-facing brands (Sparefoot.com, SelfStorage.com, and Storage.com) while meeting revenue targets. 

You’ll work to develop and improve organic search opportunities through strategic data analysis, testing, technical and content optimization using the latest platforms and technology available. You’ll gain a deep understanding of our consumer funnel and revenue streams, which will help you unlock the organic channel’s full potential. This role is uniquely positioned to directly impact Storable’s bottom line, and we’re excited you’re considering joining our team.

What you will do every day:

  • Inform our strategic SEO roadmap to build towards continued channel optimization
  • Analyze and report on the KPIs that matter: CTR, rankings, traffic, conversion rates, revenue, etc. with a strong understanding of the inputs and outputs
  • Collaborate with Product and Design stakeholders to continuously improve the on-site experience and maximize conversion rates
  • Conduct routine SEO audits including: keyword research/ranking/gap analysis, competitive site/serp analysis, SEO-friendly copywriting, sitewide audits, crawl analysis, identify technical issues, improve site health and QA
  • Assist with the research, analysis, development and implementation of strategic action plans to accelerate the achievement of long and short-term SEO objectives
  • Scale onsite content optimizations for existing landing pages as well as create new content/landing pages based on opportunities identified in content gap analysis
  • Assist in research and development of the blog content calendar and coordinate with contractors for content creation
  • Create opportunities through staying current with new channels, software, and industry best practices

What you need to bring to the table:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience managing organic search strategy
  • Experience in an e-commerce or marketplace vertical
  • Comfort around complex data modeling and forecasting
  • Hands on experience working in Search Console and Google Analytics
  • Deep familiarity with basic funnel reporting (impression, click, conversion, etc.) 
  • Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets (pivot tables, XLOOKUPs, etc.)
  • Experience with 3rd party SEO tools such as seoClarity, SEMRush, Botify, ScreamingFrog, etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Accountability and ownership for your own work
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the latest trends and best practices in organic search

Bonus Points

  • Experience with managing a WordPress blog
  • Experience with SQL, Tableau, Looker Studio (Google Data Studio), or other data visualization tools
  • You have massive curiosity about what’s next in SEO
