Job Description

Moov is the payments processor devoted to delighting users. We help software companies add money movement to their products, letting the end-user drive how they pay and get paid. 

Our product designers take a product, feature, or experience from ideation to production. This process includes vision setting, designing solutions, prototyping, overseeing implementation, and collaborating with other designers, product managers, and engineers.

You will:

  • Specialize in one of our core product areas and work closely with engineers and product managers to define the long-term strategy and short-term tactics for the product
  • Work closely with designers on your team to develop and expand product design systems
  • Participate in design reviews and share your work regularly
  • Demonstrate an expertise in typography, composition, layout, and design thinking in the design solutions you create
  • Design at a systems level, where components can be re-used and built to scale

You have:

  • 3+ years of experience designing products for the web or mobile
  • A passion for turning complex problems into simple and engaging experiences
  • Outstanding UX ability, visual design, and product thinking for web-based applications
  • Competence in relevant design and prototyping tools
  • Strong collaboration and self-management skills
  • Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus

Salary range: $150k  to $160k  based on experience, geography, and other key factors


If you’re nervous about not meeting every qualification above, apply anyway. Moov is all about pushing boundaries—ours, yours, and the industry’s—so we look for curious people willing to experiment and grow. While we can’t teach curiosity and compassion, we can teach some technical skills. Don’t go iron your clothes for your interview (do people still own irons?). We’re all pretty casual here, so you can wear whatever you are most comfortable in.
