We’re looking for a freelance contract Senior Product Designer to join us in order to drive Dribbble’s creative strategy. In this capacity, you will be responsible for keeping the needs of the business in mind while serving up exceptional design experiences. You’ll live at the intersection of marketing and user experience – taking users on a complete journey from discovery to adoption and success.

You’ll succeed in this role if you love to design across a variety of disciplines from product, to marketing, to production work—you love all things design; you think conceptually; you have a basic understanding of the technical implications of design decisions; you are collaborative and process-driven.

As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Taking ownership of the design strategy and the contribution you can make towards solving our customer problems.
  • Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
  • Working across our team to concept and develop solutions to key customer problems.
  • Supporting our research efforts, act in the organization as the voice of the user, and relaying insights to others.
  • Leading all aspects of design across the entire life-cycle of your product team’s projects.
  • Testing and iterating on new and existing product features to ensure they are on brand, functional, usable, and accessible.
  • Collaborating with the design team to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience.
  • Working together with our communications team on marketing and promotional material.
  • Executing all visual design stages from concept to final integration.
  • Helping to build out and maintain a brand design system as well as a product design system.
  • Eliciting constructive feedback and interpreting that feedback into design solutions.

We’re looking for:

  • Relevant experience under your belt (Creative Agency, In-House Marketing…). You have experience in designing high-quality creative concepts and have familiarity in using Figma, Framer, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics (After Effects, etc) and creating ad content for paid social (Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, etc).
  • Experience working with customer data and research as part of your design process.
  • A keen eye for good design and superb attention to detail in typography, composition, and craftsmanship.
  • Excellent knowledge in current creative trends within the user acquisition space.
  • The ability to prioritize creative performance when designing new campaigns.
  • Great visual chops and a focus on simple, clear, responsive UI. The Dribbble community will depend on you to deliver a quality experience.
