The Product Marketing Team

We are product subject matter experts, strategy builders, avid researchers, and skilled communicators – we help data.ai marketing, sales, and product teams identify market opportunities and refine our product offerings and solutions narrative.

What can you tell your friends when they ask you what you do?

Reporting to the Head of Product and Content Marketing, I own and drive the Competitive Intelligence Program. In my role, I develop and implement a strategic and tactical research and insights agenda across verticals. I help Product, Marketing, and Sales teams understand our customer’s needs, pain points, market opportunities, market position, and competitive risks. I significantly influence the company’s sales & product marketing strategies. I partner with senior product, design, marketing, and sales leadership daily

You will be responsible for and take pride in….

Leading Competitive Research – Support and Liaise closely with Product, Product Marketing, Marketing, and Sales:
Be the industry expert, conducting ongoing market research to identify industry-specific opportunities for positioning, differentiation, and growth
Gather, assimilate, analyze, and present timely, relevant research and insights across multiple verticals and competitive platforms. data.ai platform and vertical trends to a wide variety of stakeholders, inclusive of business teams, commercial activation, product marketing, and content development: this includes bespoke strategy services for internal business customers, growth forecasting, evaluation of market positioning and sizing, competitive intelligence, disruptive trends evaluations, and investment business case development
Manage market research and insights projects informed and aligned with critical stakeholders that enable the business to remain focused on prioritized issues and topics
Conduct market research to understand where we fit relative to the competitor’s feed in the output to marketing plans and product messaging, and inform Product and Sales teams on learnings
Conceive, lead, and conduct qualitative and quantitative research studies; identify and manage key external partners to work with
Create a battle card, strategic decks, and other collaterals in support of the sale strategy and sales motion
Project manage and drive the success of research initiatives through developing informed and thoughtful survey design, questionnaire development, data collection, analysis, and reporting
Manage resources and time efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines
Effectively communicate actionable results through compelling data storytelling across the organization
Vet and work with current and potential research and data source partners

You should recognize yourself in the following…
You understand the mobile B2B2C journey
7+ years of relevant professional experience AND 2+ years of experience in SaaS analytics
AdTech, broader digital media industry, streaming industry, or media consultancy experience a plus

OR
Worked as a management consultant/ in a strategy firm – have experience developing strategies in public and private sectors.
An expert at designing and executing customized primary research projects from start to finish
Have an understanding and experience with quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and tools to deliver customer and market research and insights quickly and effectively
BA/BS (or equivalent) from a top-tier university. Preferred – Business, Marketing, Psychology, Sociology, Statistics, or other quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
Excellent communication and presentation skills, and highly comfortable presenting and speaking in front of a room
Awesome PowerPoint, Excel, and written and visual communication skills
Have strong project management and time management skills; Ability to juggle multiple projects at once and prioritize work appropriately
Foster great relationships and work well with internal and external partners
Data savvy with meticulous attention to detail and can produce deliverables on time at a very high bar
Self-starter and entrepreneurial with the ability to learn quickly and thrive under pressure in a fast-paced and shifting environment.

Compensation

$162,000 – $224,000 (base salary)

Non-Quota: We also provide an annual bonus based on individual and company performance

Individual pay decisions are based on several factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, location, and balancing internal equity relative to other data.ai employees. Candidates offered roles will be in the range based on these factors.
